Artist Bio
Originally from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, I am a 'Wood Artist'. Challenges are what I love & can make virtually anything out of wood, from a picture/drawing/description.
My favorites are Sculptures & Turning on the Lathe. I love making BOWLS, from very small (with or without lids)........to very large to go in a Foyer.
I am called "OnlyFromTrees" because I use trees & logs, not lumber. However, the trees I use are fallen, burned, & diseased trees........never do I allow a perfectly good tree to die for me! I get a lot of my trees/logs from the Rocky Mountains, where there's been a forest fire, or diseased trees. Here in Corpus Christi, some come from the beach, washed up from the Gulf. I will work with lumber if it washes up from the Gulf, because it usually turns out very special, because of strange circumstances unknown. Some come from people who have cut a tree down because of bugs or tornados.
